Like a fine wine...

Just weeks,... days,... minutes before my glorious 33rd birthday I feel like I am falling apart. I am not aging gracefully. Just within the past 2 weeks I have developed this horrible pain in my left heel. Each day the pain gets a little worse. When it started it was just in the morning, now it is continuous, all day long. It feels like I have a hot coal in my shoe - literally burning the heel of my foot. So I limp, this has created undue pressure on my right leg and hip which is causing pain to my joints and muscles. My new foot pain is just an addition to my pre-existing back pain caused the extra vertebrae in my lower spine. I called 5 different foot doctors today begging for an appointment tomorrow (my day off) and was told by all of them the soonest they could see me would be the middle of October. If anyone knows a good foot doctor give me a shout out! Logan turns 5 on Thursday and I have promised him a trip to the zoo. My foot is not looking forward to it. The silver lining on this cloud is that maybe Jim will feel sorry for me and go to the grocery store in my place tonight (hint-hint-hint). :-)
