I got some good news today and it seemed kind of celebratory to post it here. I had a small tumor surgicaly removed from my right breast yesterday and the doctor's office called today to say it was benign! Woo-hoo! While we were waiting for them to take me back to the operating room yesterday Jim and I were laughing about the "happy juice". We decided that maybe we could take turns and just go in once a week to get knocked out for a few hours. That way we would get some good quality sleep and be well rested (not to mention kid free)! LOL!
Jim was planning to to go to "party at the plaza" tonight after work for some much need R&R with his buddies so I told him this morning on his way out the door that he was not allowed to give out free breast exams. Although, after my ordeal, I am sure he would be happy to perform the service and possibly help another woman, it really wasn't necessary. We both got a good laugh!
