Another night of excitement

Well, Jim called me on his lunch break today and said his car was acting "funny". So at 4:45 I get another phone call "my car wont start and I am stuck at work". Lucky for him I got the tow truck hook up! Wink-wink! I get off at 5, pick up the kids and Charlie follows me to Jim's work 10,000 miles away (OK, that was a small exaggeration, it is really only 9,999 miles). To tow Jim's car back to the dealer. So glad we bought the extended warranty now. Sounds like the fuel pump may have went out, but wont know for sure till tomorrow when they have a look at it. The funny part is that I get a text message from Charlie saying that when he got to the dealership to drop off the car, it started right up with no problems! Grrrrrrrreat! Needless to say that taco night was cancelled at our house tonight and we didnt get home till after 9 PM. The really sad thing is that we may be forced to eat dinner out again tomorrow becasue we will have to go pick up the car from the dealer after work. Boy, I tell ya,... you really got to twist my arm to keep me from cooking! ;-)
